Pain is part of growing.

Everything in life is temporary.

Worrying and complaining change nothing.

Your scars are symbols of your strength.

Every little struggle is a step forward.

Other people's negativity is not your problem.

What's meant to be will eventually, BE.

The best thing you can do is to keep going.

Life's Learning / BUY ONE GET ONE

BUY ONE GET ONE

When we buy "Jealousy" we get "Headache" free.!

When we buy anger, we get "acidity" free!

When we buy "hate" we get "ulcer" free.!

When we buy "stress" then "blood pressure" is available free.!

Similarly, when we buy "trust" from the conversation, then "friendship" is received free.!

When we buy "exercise" we get "health" free.!

When we buy "Peace", good "sleep" is available free.!

When we buy "Love" we get "God's grace" free with all the good qualities.!

When we buy "Prayers" we get "Peace of mind" free.!

Now it depends on us, what we buy....!!

Ultimately, the decision lies with us: What will we choose to buy in life?

Deep but truth!!!

A teacher came into her class and wrote the following on the board...
9x1=7
9x2=18
9x3=27
9x4=36
9x5=45
9x6=54
9x7=63
9x8=72
9x9=81
9x10=90

When she was done, she looked at the students and they were ALL laughing at her for getting the first equation wrong.

The teacher let the laughter die down and then said the following;

'I wrote that first one wrong because I wanted you to see how the world will treat you when you mess up.

I got ONE thing wrong. But I wrote the right answer 9 times.

This is how many people in the world will treat you. They will criticize the one wrong thing you do and skip over the million good things you've done."

What is building as a learning aid?

Building as Learning Aid (BaLA) is an innovative educational concept that uses school infrastructure as a resource for teaching and learning. The idea is to make school spaces more resourceful, child-friendly, and inclusive, enhancing the overall learning experience1.

Key Components of BaLA
Activity-Based Learning: BaLA encourages learning through activities and interactions with the built environment. This can include using walls, floors, and other spaces creatively to teach various subjects.

Child-Friendly Spaces: The design focuses on creating spaces that are welcoming and engaging for children, promoting a positive learning atmosphere.

Inclusive Education: BaLA aims to be inclusive, ensuring that children with special needs (CWSN) can also benefit from the learning environment.

Visual and Interactive Elements: Incorporating visual aids, interactive displays, and educational materials directly into the school architecture.

Implementation
Spaces: BaLA involves planning and designing school spaces to create varied teaching-learning situations. This can include classrooms, libraries, corridors, and outdoor areas.

Built Elements: The physical elements within these spaces, such as walls, floors, and furniture, are used as teaching aids.

Benefits
Enhanced Learning: By integrating learning into the physical environment, BaLA helps make education more engaging and effective.

Holistic Development: It supports the holistic development of children by providing a stimulating and supportive environment.

Resource Optimization: BaLA makes the best use of existing school infrastructure, adding educational value without the need for extensive additional resources.

The concept of Building as Learning Aid (BaLA) was developed by Vinyas, Centre for Architectural Research & Design with support from UNICEF. The initiative was led by Kabir Vajpeyi and his team at Vinyas.

BaLA aims to transform school infrastructure into dynamic learning environments, making education more engaging and effective. It's a wonderful example of how thoughtful design can enhance the learning experience for students.

others / The Young Man's Opinion - Motivational Stories
« on: February 01, 2023, 04:14:34 PM »
One young man went to apply for a managerial position in a big company.

He passed the initial interview and now would meet the director for the final interview.

The director discovered from his CV that the youth’s academic achievements were excellent.

He asked, Did you obtain any scholarships in school…?
the youth answered “NO”.

Who paid for your school fees…?
” Parents “, he replied.

“Where did they work……?”

“They worked as clothes cleaner.”

The director requested the youth to show his hands.
The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

“Have you ever helped your parents wash the clothes ?”

“Never, my parents always wanted me to study and read more books.
Besides, my parents can wash clothes faster than I do.

The director said, “I have a request.

When you go home today, go and clean your parent's hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.

The youth felt dejected.
When he went back home, he asked his parents to let him clean their hands.
His parents felt strange and happy but with mixed feelings,
They showed their hands to their son.

The youth cleaned their hands slowly.
His tear fell as he did that.
It was the first time he noticed that his parent's hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises on their hands.

Some bruises were so painful that they winced when he touched them.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes every day to enable him to pay the school fees.

The bruises on their hands were the price that the parents had to pay for his education, his school activities, and his future.

After cleaning his parent's hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for them.

That night, the parents and son talked for a very long time.

The next morning, the youth went to the director’s office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth’s eyes when he asked:

“Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house….?”

The youth answered,
I cleaned my parent's hands, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes’

“I now know what appreciation is.
Without my parents, I would not be who I am today…

By helping my parents, only now do I realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done on your own And I have come to appreciate the importance and value of helping one’s family.

The director said,
“This is what I am looking for in a manager.
I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life.”

“You are hired.”

A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop an “entitlement mentality” and would always put himself first.

He would be ignorant of his parent’s efforts.

If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying our children instead…?

You can let your child live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, and watch on a big screen TV.

BUT,
when you are cutting grass, watering the plants, cleaning up the house, or after a meal washing the plates and bowls, etc. then please let them experience it together with their brothers and sisters.

It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in the right way.

You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow grey, the same as the parents of that young person.

The most important thing is your child learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the need to work with others to get things done…

Forward this story to as many as possible…it may change someone’s attitude.
